Hearts Set Free believes the family is the foundation for all things.

Hearts Set Free has opened its first office located at 183 First St. N.W. Cleveland.

There are so many factors that can cause stress and destruction to the family, a representative said. Addiction is an area that has severely affected the family; one of the group’s goals is working with these individuals. This means individual therapy as well as family therapy.

As a group, Hearts Set Free hopes to see change come about in the nation. It must first start in the restoration of our families, according to a representative.

“We have been developing a thriving family counseling and therapy center located in Bradley County. The practitioners are experienced in family and marriage, substance abuse, sexual abuse, and sexual identity counseling. They come from a wide range of backgrounds and experience.”

The program addresses mental health care, emotional and mental wellness and quality of life issues. Mental wellness certainly has an effect on the quality of a person’s life.

Those with addiction and major depression, two of the more common diagnoses seen in the center, struggle to be productive members of society. These issues among many others tug at the basic core of the structure of families.

By offering counseling and therapy, Hearts Set Free not only assists the individual or family unit, but the local community and society as a whole, the representative said.

The Hearts Set Free site is opened during regular business hours, as well as Saturday and for evening appointments.

It also offers group meetings (REAL LOVE) on Monday evenings.
