She, along with her husband, owned and operated Jerry’s Auto Parts, from 1971-2008. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clevis “Heavy” Rogers; and mother, Mamie Jones Rogers.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Malone, of Benton; brothers: Billy F. Rogers of Etowah and Bobby Rogers of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 8 tonight, May 4, 2011, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wilfred Wright officiating.
Interment will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Benton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home prior to the service.
