The Cherokee Hiking Club will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Ryan’s Restaurant. A short business meeting will follow the Dutch-treat dinner.

The Dorcas Circle of Community Hall Church, 1305 Sixth Street S.E., will sponsor a Christmas Bazaar, Saturday at the church from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be items for sale. Soup, cornbread, desserts and drinks will be sold beginning at 11 a.m.

Lebanon Baptist Church, 1411 Old Parksville Road, will have their annual breakfast for missions, Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m.

A benefit singing will be held at Victory Faith Church, 1253 King Edward Ave., Saturday at 6 p.m. The Joyful Aires and others will be singing. All proceeds will go to help kids at Christmas who are less fortunate.
