The National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will meet at noon Thursday at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, on Peerless Road at the corner of Peerless and Norman Chapel Road. Bob George, a local CPA and city historian, will speak about his involvement, experience and membership with the Col. Benjamin Cleveland Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR). Tennessee Health Care Campaign, a nonprofit organization. invites the public to an informational workshop to learn about the Affordable Health Care Act. This workshop will be held at Cleveland State Community College in the Career Education Building on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. There will be a certified navigator present to assist with enrollment or to help you explore the 61 health insurance policies available to Bradley County residents through the marketplace.

Volunteer Energy Cooperative’s energyright workshop for local contractors scheduled for today in Decatur has been postponed until Feb. 27. The February 13 workshop scheduled in Crossville has been rescheduled to Feb. 28.
