There will be an auction and dinner today at Ridgeview Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1501 South Ocoee St., sponsored by the Ladies Friendship. The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and the auction at 6 p.m.

There will be a gospel singing at the Highway 64 Flea Market, Saturday at 6 p.m., featuring several different singers.

Cleveland Middle School boys basketball pancake breakfast will be held at Applebee’s, Saturday from 7 a.m. 10 a.m. The cost will be $5. The players will serve and meet and greet.

The VFW and Cleveland Dart Association will have a yard sale and bake sale Saturday. All proceeds will go to Toys for Tots. Anyone wishing to drop off a new, unwrapped toy may do so between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the VFW Post 2598, 3370 North Ocoee St.

Cleveland Transit will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. It will operate a limited but free schedule on Friday, Nov. 23, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Normal service will resume on Monday Nov. 26.
