In honor of Athletic Training Awareness Month, observed during the month of March, Lee University ATC students will participate in North Lee Elementary’s “Spring Fling: Ram Jam” on Friday. The ATC students also delivered first aid to walkers and runners for Great Strides on April 9. Student athletic trainers Jeff Barnhart and Jessica Vanderveen help out at North Lee’s 2010 Ram Jam. The Ram Jam fundraising event is planned for Friday, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at North Lee Elementary. The proceeds from the event will help pay the salaries of the school’s art and computer teachers. The event will be held rain or shine at the school, located at 205 Sequoia Drive. Some of the activities planned include a mobile video game theater, Pokey Dot the Clown, face painting, inflatables, food and more.
