Reports were not completed today, according to THP information, but two people were reportedly killed.

- A Werner work ladder was reportedly stolen from a truck sometime last week.
According to a report filed by deputy Chad Nave of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, he was flagged down while on patrol. Charles Patterson said someone took the 16-foot ladder from the bed of his truck between July 10 and July 11. The ladder was believed to have been taken from the truck while it was parked at a Benton Pike address.
The ladder was valued at $200.
- A Pea Street resident reported the theft of two bicycles and a tire and rim.
According to a report by Nave, the theft was reported Monday.
Michael Worsham said someone took a Mongoose 20-inch bike and a Schmidt Pro Series bike from an area of his property located at 1090 Pea St.
A Matrix tire and five-lug silver rim were also taken.
The estimated value of the missing items is $320.
Investigation is continuing.
Serial numbers were not available at the time of the initial report.
- A number of items were reportedly stolen from a work van while it was parked at an employee’s residence during the weekend.
According to a report filed by deputy Brandon Edwards of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, he responded to a Pickens Street address and spoke with Rodney Camp, an employee of AAA Heating and Air company.
Camp said he had parked the van in his driveway and when he got in it to go to work Friday, he noticed several items were missing.
The report noted Camp’s personal items were taken from the vehicle and none of the company’s property was missing.
A Garmin GPS, a Black and Decker power inverter, a Porter-Cable 18-volt cordless drill and a 10-inch by 15-inch portable scale were missing from the van.
According to the report, the items were valued at $315.
- Edwards also filed a report for Cleveland Automotive.
According to his report, Edwards spoke with Kevin Towl, who said someone had entered the business lot and took ramps which went with a trailer used at the business. No other property was listed as missing.
The ramps were last seen at the business earlier this month.
The missing ramps were valued at $150.
- Deputies Kevin Chastain and Edwards also filed reports for David Dale of a Buck’s Pocket Road address where an outbuilding had been burglarized.
According to their reports, Dale said forced entry was made to his storage building and someone took a number of tools.
A Homelite saw, a kerosene heater, wrenches, two air compressors and other property was discovered missing during the initial investigation.
According to the reports, Dale assessed his loss at more than $500.
Investigation is continuing.
