A possibility of arson exists in both, according to Lt. Donnie Sullivan of the Cleveland Fire Department.
The latest fire was reported just before 5 a.m. today.
CFD firefighters responded to 940 Wildwood Ave. and found a vacant house on fire. A report filed by CFD Commander Robert Gaylor noted the building was determined to have been vacant for a number of years.
Sullivan responded and said the fire originated in the southeast corner of the house in what is believed to have been a bedroom.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 6 a.m.
A fire at 960 King Edward Ave. is also under investigation. According to Sullivan, that fire is also suspicious in nature.
Just before 11 p.m. Sunday evening, firefighters responded to what was supposed to be a vacant house.
Upon arrival, they found a small fire in the northeast bedroom where a sheet had been ignited, causing the window and trim to catch fire.
Gaylor noted there was no electricity on at the house and officials were not able to locate the property owner at the time.
Investigation continues in both incidents, according to Sullivan.
