Jackson, Parris, Borst lead the Aqua Tigers; Nelson, Sharma swim strong for Waterdogs

Both the Cleveland Aqua Tigers and the Mosby Park Waterdogs were on the road Thursday night.

The Aqua Tigers claimed a 461-269 victory over the Calhoun Swim Team, while the Waterdogs were unable to get the win over the Ringgold (Ga.) TigerSharks, falling to their opponent by a score of 381-354.

The Aqua Tigers’ 461 points were added to by numerous members of the team.

Alexia Jackson, David Parris and Meredith Borst each had 19 points.

Gracelyn Jackson, Lauren  Thompson, Grayson Payne, Blake Odum, and Lauren Borst all had 17 points a piece.

Adam Foster added 16 points and both Luke Belcher and Jacob McDaniel had 15 points. Ben Cooper had 14 points and Jasper Culpepper and Allysa Raspa each had 13 points.

Anna Thompson, Kylee Weir, Regan Fuller, and Nelson Chung all contributed 12 points to the team total.

The high point totals were rounded out by Devon Frakes, Landon Price, Harper Fuller, Logan Stutzman, and Jason Chung, who all finished with 10 points.

The Aqua Tigers have a week until their next meet. On Thursday, June 13, they will host the Red Bank Gators.

The Waterdogs also saw their fair share of high point scores from members of their team.

Reid Nelson had 19 points and Davina Sharma had 18 points in the meet.

Both Julie Bryant and Maya Sharma finished with 17 points.

Camren Davis, Kyra Nipper and Bristol Snider all had 12 points.

Ann Garner and Katie Estes each had 11 points.

High point scoring for the Waterdogs was concluded by Brian Lineberry, Eligio Urani, and Connor Browand, who each had 10 points in the meet.

The Waterdogs’ next meet will be on Monday, June 10, at 6 p.m., as they host the Red Bank Gators.
