Jeremy Hugh Anderson, 34, a lifelong resident of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a loving son and father.

He was employed with Chormatec.

He was a member of Zion Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1997.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Joe Varner and Bill Anderson; great-grandfather, Howard Jones; great-grandmothers: Avo Jones and Hazel Anderson; two aunts and one uncle.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Pike Anderson, of Charleston; parents, James and Debbie Anderson of Charleston; children: Jacob Anderson, Hayden Haney, Noland Haney, Chelsey Myers, Jordan Myers and Rachel Johnson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rita and Melvin Pike; grandparents: Sarah Varner, Elaine Stonecipher and Millard “Stoney” Stonecipher; a sister-in-law; one brother-in-law; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor David Peters officiating.

Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with P.D. Doss, Glenn Anderson, Steve Elliott, Scott Hewitt, Kenneth Anderson and Adam Haney serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
