He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Ella J. Partin, of Cleveland; daughter, Leigh Ann Boyd of Cleveland; sister, Lois Benson; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Asble officiating.
Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Jellico Cemetery, Jellico, Tenn., with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
