Survivors include his wife, Joyce McKerchie; mother, Jean McKerchie; sons: Barry McKerchie, Troy McKerchie and Brian McKerchie; daughters: Rhonda McKerchie, Dawn Perez, Dinelle Grant and Michelle McKerchie Lunsford; stepdaughters: Michelle Whaley, Melissa Whaley King and Amanda Whaley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. today, May 2, 2012, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Sorah officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 this evening at the funeral home prior to the service.
