He was a truck driver for Shaw Industries for 10 years and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Kathleen Williams; and son, Ricky Snyder.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Williams; sons: Johnny Williams, Greg Snyder and Jeff Snyder; daughter, Rhonda Johnson, all of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Linda Williams of Ooltewah; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
