Johnny Robert Lott, 89, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013, at his residence.
He retired from Magic Chef after 15 years of service. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed gardening, working in his flowers and listening to southern gospel music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie K. and Curtis E. Harris Lott; and one granddaughter, Angela Jacobs.
He is survived by his wife of 62 and a half years, Lorene Bennett Lott; son, Timothy Lott of Cleveland; daughters: Brenda Kendrick and husband, Dean, of Cleveland and Jannie Mosley and husband, James, of Charleston; three grandchildren: Norman Jacobs and wife, Angie, Rhonda Bandy and husband, Stephen, and Saliena Sizemore and husband, Trey; seven great-grandchildren: Amanda Culbertson, Michael Spicer, Zackary and Angelina Thornhill, Nathanael Jacobs, Chandlar Christenson and Ira-Wyatt Bandy; two sisters: Marian Hayes and Hazel Register; two brothers: Clyde Lott and Edwin Lott; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at the First United Pentecostal Church with Pastor William Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 this afternoon at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
