Josephine Still Phillips, 88, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away this morning, Aug. 26, 2011, at her home.

She was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ.

For most of her life she was a homemaker, but in later years was employed with Oak Grove School cafeteria.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dina Hicks Still; her husband, Hubert Phillips; and one daughter, Wanda Haney.

Survivors include a son, Larry Phillips of Cleveland; one daughter, Peggy Brown of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert K. Still of Cleveland; two sisters: Frances McConnell and Betty Elmore, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
