She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Debity and Vergie Garland Debity; and sisters: Joann Kyle and Betty Young.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Sisson of Cleveland; children: Ashley Underwood and husband, Jamie, of Sweetwater, Phillip Bates and wife, Tiffany, of Cleveland and stepson, Bill Sisson of Copperhill; grandchildren: Aayla Ann Bates and Austin Burnette; brothers: Junior Debity of Cleveland and Jimmy Debity of Coker Creek; sisters: Carolyn Graves and Gail Cathy both of Coker Creek; mother-in-law, Evelyn Sisson; and sister-in-law, Judy Arp, both of Copperhill; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial graveside service will be held on May 26, 2012, at Epperson Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Monroe County.
