Kathryn R. Moore, 87, a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Fairburn, Ga., passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, in a local health care facility.

She was the daughter of the late Annie Jones Rogers and Edward Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lee Moore; daughter, Lynn Moore Wilson; two sisters; and one brother.

She was an accomplished seamstress and a very active member of Fairburn United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Sanders “Sandy” Moore and his wife, Gay, of Ooltewah; grandchildren: Bryan Moore and his wife, Melanie, of Knoxville, Matt Moore and his wife, Carrie, of Castle Rock, Colo., Leslie Wilson Jr. and his wife, Brooke, of Durham, N.C., Laura Freeman and her husband, Melvin, of Huntersville, N.C.; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and a nephew.

A Remembrance of Life graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Holly Hills Memorial Gardens in Fairburn with the Rev. Vickie Smith, pastor of Fairburn United Methodist Church officiating.

Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Fairburn.
