She is survived by her mother, Angie Smitty Diaz of Cleveland; father, Chris Brooks of Cleveland; brother, Joe Hamilton; sisters: Cierra Diaz and Jasmine Diaz; stepbrother, Mikah Shields; stepsister, Mia Shields; paternal great-grandmothers: Annie Marie Brooks of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Sylvia Audrey Whitehead of Cleveland; maternal grandparents: Edna and Eddie Garren of Cleveland; paternal grandparents: Andrew and Chris Brooks of Macon, Ga. and Jennifer and Jerry Glover of Cleveland; and several aunts, uncles, cousins; and numerous friends.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. today, April 2, 2012, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
