Keith John Worthington, 51, a resident of Old Fort, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, in a Chattanooga hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was the son of the late Lesley Worthington and Eileen Worthington. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Thomas ‘Teber’ Wilcoxon.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Wilcoxon Worthington of Old Fort; daughter, Britney McKnight Higdon of Old Fort; son, Dustin McKnight and his wife, Katie, of Benton; very special grandchildren: Kaleigh Price and Kyler Higdon, both of Old Fort; sister, Lin Doe and her husband, Tony, of England; mother-in-law, Doris Wilcoxon of Old Fort; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be conducted by the family at a later date.
Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel, is in charge of the cremation services.
