Tony and Sheila Kinder of McDonald announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Denise, to Matthew Braden Bible of Cleveland, the son of Keith and Carolyn Bible of Knoxville.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony on June 4 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margaret Pierce of McDonald and the late Patrick Pierce, Patricia Kinder of McDonald and John Kinder of Cleveland.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Glenn Bible of Newport, Juanita Warwick of Knoxville and the late William Warwick, and the late Leonard and Joyce McFalls. He is the brother of Amber Bible of Knoxville.

Miss Kinder is a 2006 graduate of Bradley Central High School and graduated from Lee University in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in education. She is a third-grade teacher in the Bradley County School System.

Mr. Bible is a 2002 graduate of Knoxville Baptist Christian School. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Tennessee of Knoxville in advertising and business and is employed by Shane’s Rib Shack.

They are both member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland.
