Sheena Newman, elementary supervisor of instruction, invites parents to register their kindergartens at their prospective elementary school on that day. Children who were previously at the “Kindergarten Rocks” event earlier this year need not attend.
Students entering kindergarten in August must be 5 on or before Sept. 30. Parents will need to provide the child’s birth certificate, Social Security number, and an updated health immunization card before school begins.
Bradley County Elementary Schools include Black Fox, Charleston, Hopewell, Michigan Avenue, North Lee, Oak Grove, Park View, Prospect, Taylor, Valley View and Waterville Community.
