Kirksey has been practicing law in and around the Cleveland community for the past three years.
After graduating from Walker Valley High School in 2002, Kirksey attended Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, where he received his accounting degree in 2005.
Kirksey then graduated from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., in 2008, where he focused primarily on tax, estate, and business planning. He then received his Masters of Laws in taxation in 2009 from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Since beginning his practice, Kirksey also has earned his CPA license.
Kirksey practiced in the tax and estate planning department at the Chattanooga law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel prior to opening his own practice in Cleveland. Kirksey’s practice involves many transactional matters, including tax planning, estate planning (drafting wills and trusts), probate, business formation and planning, and forming and advising tax-exempt organizations.
