The bride is the daughter of Michael Skelly and Jane Bartolo and stepdaughter of Anthony Bartolo of Cleveland. The bridegroom is the son of Martin Klotz and Margaret Mahar of New York.
Chaplain Timothy L. Auman officiated the ceremony. A lunch reception was held at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, followed by dinner and dancing at the Old Winston Social Club.
The bride was attended by her sisters, Emily Stout, Sarah Skelly, Rachel Skelly, Colleen Skelly and Elizabeth Jackson, and Emily Klotz, sister of the bridegroom.
The bridegroom was attended by friends Cody Wilmer and Jason Gladstone, and brothers-in-law Julio Lagrule, Chad Stout, Jonathan Jackson and Michael Hunt.
After a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga., The couple resides in Winston-Salem.
Mrs. Klotz is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor of arts degree and earned her master’s at Wake Forest University, where she is a PhD candidate.
He is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor of arts degree and earned his doctorate at Cornell University.
