The Lady Colts jumped out to an 18-2 lead in the first quarter. Ocoee has outscored its opponents in the first quarter this year by a 115-23 margin.
“Jumping on teams early is what our motto is and the girls have done a great job this year of doing that,” stated Coach Cayci Smith.
There were numerous contributors in the game for the Lady Colts. Hannah Lombard led the scoring with nine points while Alyssa Avratin and Kaleigh Hughes had seven each. Gracie Fowler and Macy Nipper had five apiece while Abbey Davis score four points to go with 10 steals. Anna Roberts and Mary Humphries also added four points each while Kendall Harris, Brittany Dilbeck, Sarah Knipp and Madison Rue had two each.
The Lady Colts run their record to 10-0 and play Meigs Middle on the road on Monday at 5 p.m.
