Lady Crusaders take No. 1 seed in SCAA

The Cleveland Christian School Lady Crusaders finished up the regular season basketball schedule Tuesday night with a 57-29 victory over Dogwood Christian after recently wrapping up the Southern Christian Athletic Association South Region regular season championship. The Lady Crusaders head into the SCAA tournament as the No. 1 seed.

The CCS boys honored Seth Hood and Chris Reynolds with a Senior Night ceremony completed by a 56-51 win over Dogwood.

Reynolds led the Crusaders with a 31-point offensive performance. Bo Martin followed up with 16 and Tanner Alguire added four points to the win.

In the girls game, Holly Sutton piled in 23 points in the Lady Crusaders’ 57-29 triumph while Hope Nix had a big night with 16. Acacia Thompson and Emily Sexton contributed seven points apiece and Whitney White chipped in four.
