KEOSHIA FORD of Chattanooga was struck in the head by a stray bullet while playing in a yard with her friends. She was severely injured, so local businessman Larry Hill and friends got together and raised funds for a van so her family could get her back and forth to doctor’s appointments. On Tuesday, LeKeshia Matthews took possession of a 2010 Dodge van which was purchased with donations from Larry Hill Ford and a few of his friends. From left are Keaeria Matthews, LeKeshia Matthews, Kaitlyn McKenzie and Hill. “She has progressed a lot,” said Matthews. “We are so thankful and blessed, and thank Mr. Hill for helping get this van.”
