She was a former resident of Cleveland. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Parks Belk and Miller’s Department Store. She was a volunteer for many years at Bradley Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald L. and Dorothy Mattie Worley Weaver; husband, Oakley Woody Jr.; son, Oakley Woody III.
She is survived by a son, Charles E. Woody and wife, Carol, of Decatur; daughter, Judy Bingham and husband, Jim, of Pendleton, Ky.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; half sister, Dosha Railey of Powell; half brother, William Donald Weaver and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy S. Bingham officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
