Lee Bertha Anderson, 78, was born in Bentonia, Miss. The Lord came to claim what is His, in peace and love He has taken her home.

She was educated in Jackson, Miss., where she received training as a licensed practical nurse. She worked for many years at Mt. Sinai hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of St. Mark Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio. She lived her life with an abundance of love, and always caring for others and with much joy.

She is preceded by her parents, George and Lucy Delaware Chamber, six sisters, and eight brothers.

She leaves behind so many to rejoice in memories, her son, David (Pamela) Anderson Jr. of Cleveland; grandchildren: Robert Graves, David Anderson III, Brenda Anderson, Sandra Anderson, and Gideon Anderson; great-grandchildren: Jayelan Sims-Graves, Riahn Graves, Alana Graves, and Landon Graves; a beloved sister, Mary Yancy, of El Paso, Texas; and a host of sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Purfiory and Minister William Chandler officiating.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
