Anna Beth Potter, 18, of the community of Woodstock will compete for the title of Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2014 on Oct. 3-5 at the Austin Peay State University in Clarksville.

Miss Potter is the daughter of Jay and Melissa Potter.

She attends Lee University, where she will be singing with The Voices of Lee.

She plans to study music, ministry and Spanish and one day, to become a worship leader.

She enjoys leading worship, traveling on mission trips, singing, dancing and swimming. She is sponsored by her family and friends.

The Miss Tennessee Teen USA and Miss Tennessee USA pageants are the official preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, and are a Donald J. Trump and NBC Universal joint venture.

The young woman chosen as Miss Tennessee USA 2014 will go on to represent the state of Tennessee in the 2014 Miss USA pageant, as seen live on NBC TV.

It is one of the most-anticipated television events of the year.
