Starting today at 5 p.m. ,web browsers and smart devices will be able to stream live video of Volley for the Cure, the Flames and Lady Flames basketball games, and the Homecoming Music Festival.
The sixth annual Volley for the Cure will feature the Lady Flames Volleyball team as they battle opponent College of Coastal Georgia in a pink-themed, fund-raising event for the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation of Chattanooga. This event has raised close to $85,000 dollars for the foundation, which serves families who have been affected by breast cancer. The match begins at 7:00 p.m. Friday night.
Also available for live streaming will be the Flames and Lady Flames basketball games. The Lady Flames will face off against Milligan College at noon on Saturday. The Flames will follow in their game against nearby Bryan College at 2:15 p.m.
Saturday night’s Homecoming Music Festival is a long, rich tradition celebrating Lee’s musical heritage and showcasing the talents of Lee’s many touring ensembles and performers. It’s always been a must-see event, and now it can be enjoyed by anyone with a high-speed internet connection. The Festival will be held on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
Those who wish to view the webcast should point their browsers to www.leeuniversity.edu and click the “Homecoming Live Stream” button. These events will also be posted on the Lee Itunes site and Lee University Rewind on the Video On Demand area of the video production website, for those who miss the live stream. A High Definition Video Production Mobile Unit will be utilized to bring a higher level of quality to the programming.
The events will be posted to Lee’s youtube account at www.youtube.com/leeuniversity early next week for those who wish to view the events after Homecoming.
