Leonard Stanley Gricus, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at his home.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Oct. 16, 1936, a son of the late Stanley and Frances Gricus.
He was a self-employed plumber for many years. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy after faithfully serving his country.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Vance Victor Gricus.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of more than 57 years, Ida Lockamy Gricus; two sons: Leonard V. Gricus and Ronald Gricus; four daughters: Diana Lynn Gricus and life partner, Kim Mynier, Linda McCoy (Gordon), Denise Simpson and Frances Mae Spruill (Kenneth); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his four legged companion, “Muffin”; several other extended family members; and a host of friends.
