Alisha Gaines of Cleveland became the bride of Oscar L. Lewis Jr., of Panama City, Fla.,, in an afternoon ceremony on June 8, 2013, in the Dixon Chapel at North Cleveland Church of God.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Debra Lattimore of Charleston and the late Allen W. Gaines. She is the granddaughter of Jessie L. Boyd of Charleston and Lillian Gaines of Cleveland.

Mr. Lewis is the son of Oscar L. Sr. and Diane Lewis of West Palm Beach.

The wedding was officiated by Oscar L. Lewis Sr., pastor of Faith Deliverance Ministries. Music was presented by J. Antony Taylor and Sharon Wells.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Jessica Johnson of Cleveland as matron of honor and Nicole Smith of Etowah as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Whitley Smith of Etowah and Mary Lindsey of Birchwood.

Zenaida Lewis, Alyssa Johnson and Alayna Johnson were flower girls and ring bearer. Alivia Johnson was ring bearer.

Jamaal Powell of Jacksonville, Fla., served as best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Jackson and Cleon Hill, both of West Palm Beach, Fla., Josh Coleman of Plant City, Fla., and Carter Check of Atlanta.

The reception was held at the Museum Center at Five Points. Diane Gaines attended the bride’s book.

After a wedding cruise to the eastern Caribbean, the couple is at home in Cleveland.

The bride is a graduate of McMinn County High School. She received her associate’s degree from Cleveland State Community College in 2000 and completed a bachelor’s and master's of arts in communication disorders from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is currently employed with Life Bridges Inc. as a speech language pathologist in Cleveland, Tennessee.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Suncoast Community High School in Palm Beach County, Fla. He received his bachelor’s degree in organizational management and master's of science in business leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Palm Beach County. He is pursuing a master's of divinity from Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland.
