The Tween Lego Club will host its Legoland Literacy Exhibit in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room on Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Nov. 3 from 1 to 5 p.m.

The Library Gallery will feature art and photography from the Teen Zone and Preschool Story Time participants. Special guests for the weekend will be Michael P. White, illustrator of “The Library Dragon” and “Star Wars” characters from the 501st Mid-South Garrison, Mos Nooga Squad. This event will be fun for the whole family. For more details, call the Children’s library at 472-2163, ext. 124.

Family Reading Night is Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Community Room. Dress up in your favorite costume for reading time with the whole family. First 10 people receive a free book. This program is in collaboration with the United Way of Bradley County.

There will be “Trick and Treating” at the library from 4 until 6 p.m. on Halloween. Children 12 and under can “trick and treat” our Circulation Desk and then proceed to the Children’s Room where the first 35 will be able to make and take a decorated pumpkin. The MainStreet Cleveland Block Party begins at 5 p.m. We would love to be a part of your Halloween activities. Crafts are for children 3 to 12 years.

This month’s Teen Book Talk will be Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Teen Zone. Discussion will be on Marie Lu’s book, “Legend.”

The following computer classes will be offered during the month of November: Basic Computers with Windows 7: Nov. 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to noon; Transitions-Windows 7 to Windows 8: Nov. 20 and 21, from 3 to 5 p.m.; and Microsoft Word: Nov. 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Due to changes in the library’s automation system, the library will be closed from Nov. 11 to Nov. 15. No items checked out will be due during this closure. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. on Nov. 15.
