The Lego clubs meetings this week will begin to prepare for its “Healthy Living” theme for the November Lego Weekend.

Both age groups (5-7 on Feb. 18, and 8-12 on Feb. 20) will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room.

These groups meet monthly working on specific projects to display during Lego Weekend.

There is no cost to join and the library provides the Legos.

Tweens will also be discussing “One and Only Ivan” by Katherine Applegate at Tween Book Chatter (ages 8-12) Feb. 21 at 4:30 p.m., in the Children’s Activity Room.

The Friends of the Library Association will host its monthly Book & Coffee Series Feb. 21 at the Craigmiles-Johnston House History Branch Library at 10 a.m. Dr. Rev. Joel W. Huffstetler will review “The Death of Santini” by Pat Conroy.

In this powerful and intimate memoir, the beloved bestselling author of “The Prince of Tides” and his father, the inspiration for “The Great Santini,” find some common ground at long last.

The Book and Coffee Reviews usually last one hour and FOLA provides the coffee. Come and hear a great review with the plot never spoiled. There is no charge to attend this event.

There will be a Behind the Scenes Library Tour Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. Meet in the lobby to begin this 45-minute tour. No advanced reservations needed.

Movie Night @ the library will be showing “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” on Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

It was originally scheduled for January, but was not shown due to snow closing. Join us for popcorn and a movie on the big screen.

The library will be closed Feb. 28 for staff training.

Normal library hours will resume March 1.
