The class is called, “Your kids and the Internet” and it will be held on Oc. 25 and 27.
It is a two-part class that runs from 3 until 5 p.m. each day. This class was developed to share basic information with people who are responsible for overseeing children’s activities online. The class is free to all with a valid library card. Stop by the Reference Desk to register.
“Spooky Stories by the Fire” will be held Oct. 24 from 7 to 8 p.m. out on the patio area outside of the Community Room. Locally famous storyteller Pete Vanderpool will entertain families with his wonderful, spooky tales. Bring your lawn chairs and/or cozy blankets. In case of rain the event will be moved indoors.
Teens, get ready for a Teen Autumn Masquerade held afterhours at the library Oct. 29 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dress in your favorite costume (please keep it clean) and join us for the fun.
There will be henna art, video clips and pictures for the library Facebook page and video games. This event is for ages 13 to 17 only.
The library will be presenting a program on “Managing your Money” with LFE Institute on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Cleveland Bradley Community Room. The cost for this workshop is $12 for the workbook. Couples who sign up only need one workbook.
There will be an Ebook Reader workshop for Android Phones or tablets on Oct. 21 from noon until 2 p.m. There is a limit of 12 patrons for the workshop and there must be three patrons registered for the workshop to take place. If the minimum number of students is not reached, those signed up will be contacted before the workshop.
