Library offers weekly children’s activities

The Teen Advisory Group, or TAG, will meet April 2 in the Teen Zone at 4:30 p.m.

Come check out all the activities planned for this group and input your ideas.

Tweens Monthly Matinee will be showing ‘HOP’ on April 7 in the Tween Room at 11:30 a.m.

This activity is open to children ages 6 through 12.

Check out these Children’s activities that happen each week:

— Story Time for Children, preschool (ages 3 to 5) Tuesday and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

— Baby Story Time (from birth to 3) Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

— Baby Bop Book Time is the fourth Thursday of the month from 1 to 2 p.m.

This is a time for stories, music, movement and playtime for babies and infants 3 and under and their parents or grands.

— Family Story Time happens every Saturday from 2 until 2:30 p.m. with stories for the whole family with a special craft.

The Children’s Library is selling Belk Charity tickets for $5 to help raise funds for the Summer Reading Program.

Every ticket will get you $5 off your first purchase on April 21 from 6 to 10 a.m.

All monies raised will stay in the Children’s library. Inquire at the Children’s Room desk.

The library will be closed April 6 for Good Friday and April 8 for Easter Sunday.
