She was the daughter of the late Dovie Brancefield Harris and Venson Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Bowman. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Gibson and her husband, Tracy; son, William Bowman and his wife, April, all of Cleveland; grandchildren: Dakota Bowman, Joshua Bowman, Kevin Gibson, Blake Gibson and Derrick Gibson; sister, Dorothy Floyd of Cleveland; brothers: Dale Harris of Cleveland and Rickie Harris of Benton, and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 4 p.m. today, March 10, 2011, at Samples Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Higgins and Pastor Joe Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in the Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Kevin Gibson, Billy Joe Godfrey, Dakota Bowman, Blake Gibson, Joshua Bowman, Jarrod Bivens and Daniel Harris serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends today from 1 p.m. until the service time at the church.
