Admission to the festival is $5; children under age 12 are free. Proceeds will benefit Firehall No. 7. This festival is sponsored by the Tennessee Overhill Heritage Association and Tennessee Arts Commission.
The event will be held on Saturday, rain or shine. With music starting at noon, the festival will go until 9 p.m.
Bands performing will be Reliance; Just Us; By the Way; Cedar Ridge; and Barefoot Nellie. Cindy Stoddard and Stacy Wilson will provide the sound system. Jammers are welcomed.
Concessions will include hamburgers, barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, pinto beans and cornbread, slaw, fried pies, barbecue chicken plates and homemade desserts. No alcohol or drugs are allowed.
Free camping “in the rough” is available. Hookups are $10 per night with clean restrooms and showers.
