He was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Maryville, to the late Joe and Lillie Teffeteller.
He was retired from Cooke’s Food Store.
He was a member of East Cleveland Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gibson Teffeteller; and daughter, Charlene Wilson.
He is survived by his children: Betty Faye Ahwazi, Lloyd E. Teffeteller Jr., Vicky Manis, Lucinda Elliott and David Allen Teffeteller, all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 7 this evening, May 1, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor James Arp officiating.
A private interment will be held in the East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 this evening at the funeral home prior to the service.
