BASEBALL

LEE BASEBALL SCHOOL

Lee University will host its annual Baseball School Sessions on July 9-11. The day school at Olympic Field is for ages 8-17. The advanced hitting, pitching and catching camp cost is $60 for hitting instructions and $45 for pitching and catching. BASKETBALL

MARTY ROWE SKILLS AND DRILLS

The Marty Rowe Skills and Drills Basketball Camp will be held June 25-29 at Lee University’s Walker Arena. Daily sessions will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (early drop off at 8, Late pick up at 4:45). The cost of the ca,p is $135 and includes t-shirt, camp instruction and daily lunch. CSCC CAMP

Cleveland State Men’s Basketball Coach Lee Cigliano will conduct CSCC Youth Basketball Camps at the CSCC gym this summer. The camp will be held July 16-19 for ages 6-15. The cost of the camp will be $60 and includes a camp T-shirt. Camp hours, for both camps, will be 9 a.m. until noon. Campers will learn the basic fundamentals through individual drills and team play. CLEVELAND CAMP OF CHAMPIONS

The 12th annual Cleveland Camp of Champions football came has begun taking registration for grades fourth though eighth. The camp focuses on technique, skill development and fundamentals and will run from July 9-12 at Cleveland High School from 9 a.m. until noon. There will be a $60 registration fee for the camp. Those interested can contact coach Mike Connolly at 504-5519 or Scott Carroll at 593-1324, or they can sign up on July 9th at Benny Monroe Stadium.

BEARS KIDS CAMP

The Bradley Central Bears’ Kids Football Camp will be held July 25-27 from 9 a.m. until noon each day. The camp is for players from first through eighth grade. GOLF

100 BLACK MEN TOURNAMENT

The 100 Black Men of Bradley County organization is seeking golfers and sponsors to support their third annual golf tournament on June 23, at Chatata Valley Golf and Country Club. The entry fee is $70 per person and includes lunch. Sponsorships are as low as $150. Funds raised from the tournament will support the organization’s scholarship and mentoring programs. WVHS TOURNAMENT

The Walker Valley wrestling team will be hosting its first golf tournament July 7 at Chattata Valley Golf Club. Lunch is 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The format is 4-person, select shot and the cost is $50 per player before July 1 or $60 July 1. Hole sponsorships are available for $150 or $300. Cart sponsorships are $50. All proceeds go to the Walker Valley wrestling team. JUNIOR GOLF CLINIC

The Bradley County Junior Golf Clinic is being hosted by Cleveland Country Club for ages 5-17. The dates for the clinic are; June 25 and July 9, 23 and 30. Ages 5-10 will go from 8-9:30 a.m. and ages 11-17 will go from 9:45-11:15 a.m.. There will be a final tournament Aug. 6. All tournament participants must attend four of the seven instructional dates to be eligible to play in the tournament. For more information, call Cleveland Country Club at 336-3566.

LEE GOLF ACADEMY

BRADLEY PIGSKIN OPEN

The third annual Bradley Pigskin Open will be held July 22 at the Chatata Valley Golf Course. The four-man select shot tournament will tee off at 1 p.m., with lunch provided at noon. DUSTIN LEDFORD SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT

The Dustin Ledford Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held July 28 at the Chatata Valley Golf Course. The four-man select shot event will include lunch beginning at noon in the $45 per player entry fee before the 1 p.m. start. There will be prizes for the longest and straightest drives as well as closest to the pin. Hole sponsorships and mulligans are aviable. All donations for the scholarship fund will be appreciated. NEW LEE SOCCER CAMP

Lee University athletics has announce the all-new Lee Soccer Camp set for June 25–29 on the university campus. The camp is designed for boys and girls ages 5-14 and will focus on ball skills and the technical development of young players in a fun and friendly environment. Lee men’s head soccer coach Paul Furey, completing his first season with the Flames, brings over 20 years of successful camp experience with him. The camp runs 9:30 to 3:00 daily and concludes at noon on Friday. WRESTLING

STAMPEDE ALL-AMERICAN WRESTLING CAMP

The Stampede Wrestling Club will be hosting the StampedeAll-American Wrestling Camp June 29-30 at Walker Valley High School. Featuring NCAA All-American and UT Chattanooga assistant coach Jon Sioredas and High School All-American Travis Creagan. Morning session is from 9:30-11:30am, Lunch is from 11:30-1pm, Afternoon session 1-3pm. All participating wrestlers will receive a camp T-shirt and meals both days between sessions. Cost is $70. WVHS CAMP

The Walker Valley Middle School volleyball camp will be held July 11-13 from 12 until 2 p.m. at the Ocoee Middle School gym. The cost is $30 for upcoming fifth grade through eighth grade girls.
