BASKETBALL REFEREES NEEDED

CSCC CLINIC
Cleveland State Community College Men's Basketball Coach Lee Cigliano and Silverdale Academy Coach Randy Evans will conduct a youth Basketball Skills Clinics for boys and girls in the first through eighth grades Oct. 27 in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State. The Clinic will be from 10 a.m until 1 p.m. The cost will be $35. There is a $10 discount for two or more siblings attending. The Clinic will focus on fundamental and team concepts as well as instruction on proper shooting form, ball handling and defense. CCC YOUTH BASKETBALL SIGN UPS
The Clevleand Communtiy Center is having registration for their basketball leagues for boys and girls ages 7-12. Anyone interested in playing of putting a team in the league should contact the Center at 559-3322. The fee is $20 per child. Registration will run through Nov. 20.
YMCA Youth Basketball League
The Cleveland Family YMCA is currently taking registrations through Nov. 10 for its Youth Basketball League. The season will begin on Dec. 8. Evaluation will be held Nov. 3 and Nov. 10. Times for grade division are as follows: Kindergarten 9 -10 a.m. First grade 10-11 a.m. Second and third grade 11 a.m. until noon. Fourth and fifth grade noon until -1 p.m. and sixth and eighth grade 1-2 p.m.. Players are required to attend one of the two evaluation dates in order to play. BASKETBALL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The Cleveland Family YMCA is seeking individuals interested in volunteering for the Youth Basketball Program. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to, coaching, scorekeeping, refereeing, court monitoring, concessions. OCOEE HEAT TRYOUTS
The Ocoee Heat volleyball team will hold tryouts Nov. 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for ages 10 through 13 at CHS; Nov. 3 from 2-4 p.m. for ages 14/15 at CHS; Nov. 4 for ages 16 through 18 from 3-5 p.m. at Bradley Central; and Nov. 5 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. also for ages 16 through 18 at CHS. STAMPEDE CLUB SIGNUPS
Signups for the Stampede Wrestling Club for boys K-8 will be held on Oct. 26 from 6-7 p.m. at the Walker Valley football game vs. Ooltewah; Oct. 30 from 6-7:30 p.m.; Nov. 1 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Walker Valley gym; and Nov. 4 from 2-4 p.m. in the Ocoee Middle School wrestling toom. The sessions are targeted toward elementary and middle school wrestlers looking to gain basic, intermediate, and advanced knowledge of wrestling, while participating in the youth AAU season. BRADLEY PRIDE WRESTLING REGISTRATION
The Bradley Pride Wrestling Kids Club sign-ups will be held on Sundays, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 from 3-4 p.m. at the BCHS Wrestling Building (located behind Jim Smiddy arena). The cost is $60 (includes AAU card and t-shirt). The club is open to wrestlers ages 4-14, elementary through middle school. Practice begins on Nov. 16.
