By the end of 17 events, the Lady Raiders finished first overall with a total of 159 points, Ooltewah finished second with 151 points and the Lady Mustangs’ total of 102 points earned them a third place finish.
For the boys competition, Ooltewah finished first with a total of 170 points, with Cleveland coming in second with 163 points.
East Hamilton’s total of 98 points gave them a third place finish, while Walker Valley came in fourth with 52 points.
Cleveland’s Qetuwrah Abdullah-Muhammad came in first in the girls’ high jump competition after clearing 5 feet, while Walker Valley’s CyCy White finished second after a jump of 4-foot-8.
Tyler Davis gave Cleveland a first place finish in the boys’ long jump after jumping 20 feet, 8.5 inches. Another Raider athlete, Chris Ofori, came in third with a jump of 19 feet, 9.5 inches.
Walker Valley’s Rachel Lawhorn came in fifth in the triple jump event, with a total distance of 25 feet, 9.5 inches and also claimed first in the discus event with a throw of 100 feet, 7 inches.
Cleveland’s Hallea McClendon came in third in the discus throw with her distance of 82 feet, 9 inches.
In the boys’ shot put competition, Kevin Ha gave Cleveland a third place finish with a throw of 41 feet, 2.5 inches.
First and third place in the girls’ 400-meter dash was held down by Cleveland, with Abdullah-Muhammad coming in first with a time of 1:04.58 and Charissa Ryan finishing third with a time of 1:07.81.
Walker Valley’s Cydney Black and Hali Lowe claimed fourth and fifth place with their respective times of 1:07.87 and 1:08.99.
Cleveland’s David Piersaul and Anthony Boykin finished fourth and fifth in the boys’ 400M. Piersaul had a time of 54.98 and Boykin had a time of 55.10.
The girls’ 300M hurdles had Cleveland’s Monica Allison finish first in 50.41 and Walker Valley’s Gracie Pierce placing second with a time of 50.97.
In the boys’ 300M hurdles, TJ Parker gave Cleveland another first place finish with a time of 42.76.
Lady Raider Matilda Lee finished second in the girls 800M run with a time of 2:49.35 and Lady Mustang Kayla Sims finished third with a time of 2:52.70.
Walker Valley’s Zach Nicodemus finished third in the boys’ 800 meters, with a time of 2:17.98.
The boys’ 200M dash saw Cleveland’s Stephen Cannon claim second with a time of 23.27. Devin Pruett came in fourth with a time of 23.60, while Cannon’s teammates Will Hilliker and Robert Anderson finished in fifth and sixth with respective times of 23.74 and 23.94.
Walker Valley claimed third place finishes in both the boys’ and girls’ 3,200M run. Kayla Sims had a time of 13:59.79 and Vincent Jur had a time of 11:55.83.
Cleveland’s boys’ and girls’ 4x400 relay teams came away with first place finishes Tuesday night.
The girls’ team of Abdullah-Muhammad, Monica Allison, Mira Migovich, Charissa Ryan, Matilda Lee and Narissa Riley had a time of 4:23.45, while the boys’ team of David Piersaul, Isaiah Beaty, Stephen Cannon, Tyler Davis and Anthony Boykin posted a time of 3:33.33.
