Three 4-H members from Bradley County attended 4-H Target SMART Camp in Columbia.

Connor Gray, fifth-grade member; Colton Wallace, sixth-grade member; and CJ Gray, 10th- grade member, along with Lynne Middleton, Extension Agent, attended the shooting camp where the youth select different disciplines about which to learn.

Connor participated in the intensive archery tract while Colton and CJ both participated in the muzzleloader tract.

All three boys learned safety with firearms and bows in a controlled environment with certified trainers. Colton and CJ also were transported to a local shooting range to learn how to shoot .50 caliber rifles.

During free times, the campers also had the opportunity to swim, canoe, use the zipline, do arts and crafts, and participate in recreation.
