She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Hicks Jenkins and James Jenkins.
She was of the Baptist faith and worked for Jacksons Manufactur-ing.
She was survived by her husband of 20 years, David Clay Williams of Decatur; two daughters: Tracy Hanson and her husband, John, of Lafayette, Ga., and Deborah Holmes of Decatur; two sons: Melvin Holmes and his wife, Rachel, of Ten Mile, and Michael Williams and his wife, Misty, of Decatur; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Sheila Sharp and her husband, Jimmy, of Cleveland; one brother, Ricky Jenkins and his wife, Debbie ,of Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. from the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Mike Rymer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
