She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ross; parents, Andrew J. Morgan and Nora Bridel Morgan; sisters: Ethelene Morgan Estep and Bonnie Morgan Butler; brothers: Robert Morgan, Roy Morgan, Lloyd Morgan and Willard Morgan.
Survivors include her children: Robert and Shirley Ross of Benton, Ronald and Kathleen Ross of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Russell and Sharon Ross of Old Fort; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Jean Morgan Jamar of Wilmer, Texas, and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Robbie Speights officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010, in Benton Memorial Garden, with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
