Louis Dean Holder, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the family residence.
He was the son of the late Ruby B. Galligan Holder and Floyd Holder.
He was a graduate of Tullahoma High School. He worked as a machinist most of his life and was employed with Altamill Aeronautical Corp in Tullahoma and Maytag in Cleveland.
He loved music and played the guitar on the Grand Ole Opry Stage. He loved to fish and attended Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Vaughn Holder, of Cleveland; daughters: Sheila Gay Byrd and her husband, Bobby, of Tullahoma, Tina Holder of Augusta, Ga.; son, Bruce Dean Holder of Columbia, S.C.; his grandchildren: Christopher Harden and his wife, Shante, Robin Harden Wright and her husband, Jason, his great-grandchildren, Bam Harden and Harley Wright; and his special friend, Tony Crumley and his wife, Shirley, of Cleveland.
The Remembrance of Life graveside service and interment will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014, from the Red Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Isaac Hicks officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Home.
