LubriCorp, one of the Southeast’s suppliers of commercial lubricants, has received the 2011 Supplier Excellence Award from Eastman Chemical Company. The award is a part of the Eastman Supplier Excellence Program.

ESEP is a program designed to ensure that the highest quality and best value materials, equipment and services are supplied to Eastman Chemical Company.

LubriCorp is a three-time recipient of the award, having previously been honored in 2008 and 2010. Criteria for consideration include on-time delivery performance of at least 95 percent, high-quality performance, and recognition as a top-tier supplier. LubriCorp was one of only 21 companies chosen out of around 5,600.

“We are honored to be recognized for a third time with this prestigious award,” said Michael Foltz, LubriCorp president. “Doing business with Eastman has made us a better supplier, not only for them, but for the rest of our customer base as well, and we will continue in our constant effort to achieve excellence in all areas of our business.”

Eastman Chemical Company presents supplier recognition awards in four categories: excellence, innovation, improvement and sustainability. The program seeks to improve quality and cost, achieve process and product control and develop and recognize outstanding suppliers.
