Marilyn Core Joyner, 75, of Cleveland, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, in a local health care facility.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Joyner; and parents, Earl and Cora Lee King Core.

Survivors include four children: Ray C. Joyner Jr., of Soddy-Daisy, Jeffrey Eric Joyner of Cleveland, Judy Joyner Page of Portland, Maine, and Joel Timothy Joyner of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Barney Core and Ed Core, both of Folsom, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today, May 29, 2012, at Westmore Church of God with the Revs. Kelvin Page, Wendell Smith and Glen Howell officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
