She was a member of the 1975 Ooltewah state championship basketball team and had attended Chattanooga State.
She was previously employed as an administrative assistant with The Honors Course. She had been active as a fundraiser for American Diabetes Association.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Randall “Randy” Keith Duckett; and mother, Betty McDaniel Harris, both of Harrison; father, Felix E. Housley and stepmother, Evelyn Housley, both of Pikeville; and two brothers: Steven Housley and Michael Housley, both of Harrison.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Toby Brogden officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
