The program enlists highly effective teachers from the state’s top schools to share best practises and hep improve student achievement across the state.
Renae Martin of Meigs Middle School was one of the teachers named as a Reward School Ambassador.
The teachers, all of who received an overall “5,” the top score on Tennessee teacher evaluations, were nominated by thier schools and selected for the year-long paid position through a competitive application and interview process. The Reward Schools whose nominees were selected into the ambassador cohort will also receive $20,000 trant to further their educational programming.
